Google tests CC, an AI agent that organizes your day

Google Labs has started testing CC, an AI agent that connects your Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and the web to help you organize your day and decide what to do next.

CC uses Gemini to prepare a morning summary called “Your Day Ahead.” The briefing arrives in your inbox and brings together your schedule, important tasks and relevant updates in a single message.

The idea is to save you from checking several apps to find out what needs your attention. If you need to pay a bill, prepare for an appointment or respond to an outstanding matter, CC tries to flag it and help you take action.

What CC can do

In addition to summarizing your day, the agent can prepare email drafts and calendar links when it detects that they might be useful. For example, it can help you write a message related to an appointment or make it easier to create an event.

You can also give it instructions directly. Just reply to its emails or write to it to ask for something specific, tell it information about yourself, teach it a preference or ask it to remember an idea or task.

That makes CC more like an assistant that continuously receives context than a simple automated summary. Even so, Google describes it as an early experiment, not a finished feature.

Limited availability

CC enters early access on December 16, 2025 for personal Google account users over 18 in the United States and Canada. The launch begins with people who have Google AI Ultra and other paid subscribers.

Interested users can join the waitlist on the Google Labs website. For now, availability does not extend to every country or every account.

For you, the potential change is straightforward: instead of starting the morning by jumping between email, your calendar and your files, you could receive a unified view of what matters, along with some actions already prepared. The key question will be how well CC understands context and when its suggestions are genuinely useful, which Google is still testing.
