Google launches Pomelli, its AI marketing tool

Google introduces Pomelli, an AI marketing tool that analyzes a company’s website to identify its style and create tailored campaigns. The public beta is available in English to small and medium-sized businesses in four countries.

Google has introduced Pomelli, an AI marketing tool that creates campaigns for small and medium-sized businesses based on their own brand identity. The service analyzes a business’s website and generates content ready for social media, ads, and other channels.

The tool is launching as a public experiment from Google Labs, developed together with Google DeepMind. Its goal is to reduce the time, budget, and design expertise normally needed to produce consistent marketing content.

How Pomelli works

The process starts when you enter your company’s website. Pomelli analyzes the site and available images to build a profile called Business DNA.

That profile captures elements such as:

  • The brand’s tone of voice.
  • The fonts it uses.
  • Its color palette.
  • Its images and other visual traits.

The idea is for the generated content to look less like generic AI-created material and more like marketing that preserves your business’s appearance and style. For example, a coffee shop could get social media posts that match its colors, photography, and usual way of addressing customers.

Pomelli then suggests campaign ideas tailored to the business. This can help overcome one of the most common marketing roadblocks: deciding what to post and what the goal should be.

You can also write your own instruction to request a specific campaign. If you want to promote a new product, announce a sale, or prepare content for a special date, the tool uses that instruction together with the brand profile it created earlier.

Content for social media, websites, and ads

In the final step, Pomelli generates several marketing assets with text and images. You can review the proposals, choose the ones that best fit your campaign, and edit their elements directly in the tool.

The materials can be downloaded for use across different channels, including:

  • Social media posts.
  • Content for the company website.
  • Digital ads.

This does not eliminate the need to review the results. AI can speed up creation, but you still need to check that the copy is correct, the images represent your business accurately, and the promotions comply with their terms.

A limited launch

Pomelli has been available since October 28, 2025, as a public beta in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, in English only. Google describes it as an initial experiment, so some features may change and the results will not always be perfect.

For a small business, the main benefit is turning an existing website into a starting point for creating complete campaigns. The tool does not promise to replace a marketing team, but it can reduce the initial work involved in developing ideas, preparing designs, and adapting the same campaign to multiple formats.

The key question is whether Pomelli can genuinely preserve each brand’s identity and whether its proposals need only minor corrections before publication. That difference will determine whether it becomes a practical aid for businesses or just another content generator that requires more oversight than expected.
