Gemini brings new tools for small businesses
Google is adding a small-business hub to Gemini with marketing tools, financial analysis and connections to services such as Shopify, Canva and Google Workspace. The new features will begin rolling out globally in the coming days to all Gemini users.

Google is preparing new Gemini tools to help small businesses create marketing materials, analyze their finances and connect their work apps from one place. The rollout begins in the coming days and will reach all Gemini app users globally.
A work hub inside Gemini
The company is adding a new home page for small businesses. From there, owners will be able to organize brand-related tasks, review financial information and better understand their customers’ feedback and needs.
The page will also let users connect Gemini with Google services such as Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace. It will also support third-party apps including Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero.
The goal is to reduce the time lost switching between spreadsheets, advertising platforms, design tools and management systems. Gemini will act as a common access point, although the available features will depend on each connected app.
Marketing materials in your brand’s style
Businesses will be able to define their visual identity in Gemini by uploading their website, brand guidelines, fonts or color palettes. Using that information, the system will be able to create images and other materials with a consistent look.
Google will integrate this feature with Nano Banana 2.1, its latest image-generation model. For example, a store could prepare visual assets for launching a new product without having to re-enter its colors and design rules in every request.
Gemini will retain that style for use in future campaigns. This does not replace human review, but it can speed up the preparation of posts, ads and promotional materials.
Finances explained with charts
Another new feature aims to turn messy information into data that is easier to understand. Gemini will be able to work with spreadsheets, receipts and purchase records to generate financial charts and interactive models in seconds.
Instead of reviewing each figure separately, a business owner will be able to ask for a more natural explanation of their revenue, expenses or financial performance. The tool can help identify patterns and prepare analyses, but its results will still need to be checked before important decisions are made.
For you, the main change is practical: tasks that currently require combining several tools could begin from a single Gemini page. The rollout of these features, the marketing and finance capabilities and the new connections with external apps will begin globally in the coming days.
Google also maintains a separate offering for large companies that need centralized administrative controls, advanced rules for their data and organization-focused security. The next point to watch is how the connections between Gemini and the accounts where businesses store their most sensitive information work in practice.
